4 cups of water
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp of vanilla extract
1/2 cup of almonds, can be sliced, diced, however you like
1 cup of roasted sunflower seeds, unsalted
1/2 cup of red river cereal
2 cups of whatever fruit you like including dried cranberries, blueberries or fresh fruit like strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, etc...
2 cups of oatmeal, I like Rogers Porridge Oats with oat bran, wheat bran and flax seed included

Directions:
Directions:
In medium sized pot, bring the water, cinnamon, vanilla extract, nuts, fruit, and red river cereal to a boil. Boil for a few minutes then add the oatmeal.

Boil until the right consistency, and eat with milk of choice and sweetener of choice, if you need it. Yogurt or fresh fruit are good additions. The ingredients can be adjusted to meet your taste, for example, more or less fruit, vanilla, cinnamon, etc. Use your imagination.
