Crust for 9" Pie Plate
2 Tbsp. water
1 3/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. softened butter

Filling
6 apples
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 tsp. ground allspice
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tbsp. flour

Pre-heat oven to 400º
Crust
Put butter into flour and blend. Add salt, baking powder and water. On wax paper sprinkle flour. Take half of blended flour, put on wax paper, put another wax paper over the blended flour. Now roll, keep turning wax paper to make a circle of pastry. Peel off wax paper, put in pie plate, now peel off wax paper and trim off excess. Put in refrigerator. Roll extra dough into ball, and put in refrigerator.

Filling
Peel apples and slice. In a bowl, sprinkle lemon juice over apples (to keep apples from turning brown) and mix with hands. Now add cinnamon, ground allspice, nutmeg and sugar. Mix with hands. Add flour, mix again, refrigerate.

Roll out top dough as you did the bottom dough. Add apples to bottom pastry dough, dot with butter. Wet edge of pie with water, and sprinkle some flour on apples if wet. Flip top of dough over pie. Trim edge with knife, crimp edge of pie dough. Now with fork press edges. Add foil around edges to keep from burning. While cooking (about four times) brush with milk.
Cooking time 50-55 minutes
