Grama's Cinnamon Rolls Recipe

1 pkg. Fleishman's yeast
1/4 cup water
1 cup milk (scalded)
1/4 cup lard
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 egg
3 1/2 cup flour

1 1/2 tablespoons cinnamon
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 Cube butter or margarine melted
2 Cups powered sugar

Directions:

Combine flour, milk, lard, sugar and salt. Bring to a low boil. Cool to lukewarm. Add yeast and egg. Gradually stir in flour to form soft dough beating vigorously. Cover and let rise in warm place about 2 hours.

Punch down dough and roll in oblong shape. Coat with melted butter, mixed sugar and cinnamon. Roll and cut in slices. Put slices next to each other on a cookie sheet, let rise again and bake 350º 30 min.

When cool take powdered sugar mixed with water to an icing consistency and drizzle over the rolls.
