Fettuccine Alfredo Recipe

8 oz. fettuccine
1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
1/3 cup light cream
1/3 cup sour cream
2 egg yolks
dash of garlic powder and whit pepper
1/2 tsp salt.
8 oz. bacon

Directions:
Cook noodles according to the package. Drain when ready to serve.

Cook bacon in skillet until crispy and brown. Drain and crumble.

Mix and then gently heat the remaining ingredients in a double boiler or microwave until hot. Pour over noodles - top with bacon. Serve immediately!

I often add chicken to this and when I make it for a crowd, I double the noodles and triple the sauce. JoAnn has a nice variation of this with hot Italian sausage and mushrooms. I've also eliminated the bacon and added crab meat! - Yum!
