4 lbs. chicken cooked in salted water.
2 stalks celery
1 onion

1 qt, broth (strained)
4 Tbsp. flour
4 Tbsp. chicken fat

1 1/2 qt bread cubes (I dry 1 1/2 loaf white bread)
3/4 c. melted butter
3/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sage
1/2 c. half and half or chicken stock
Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Cook chicken, celery and onion together till chicken is tender. Cut up. Put into casserole dish.

Mix bread cubes, butter, salt,pepper,sage,1/2 c, half and half together and put over the chicken.

Mix together 1 qt broth, flour and chicken fat and pour over dressing.

Bake at 325º till browned (about 35-40 minutes)
