1 1/2 c FLOUR
2 tsp BAKING POWDER
1/2 tsp SALT
3/4 c SUGAR
1/4 c SHORTENING
2/3 c MILK
1 tsp VANILLA
1/2 tsp LEMON PEEL (grated)
1 EGG
1 c BLUEBERRIES
3 T SUGAR
1 tsp LEMON PEEL (grated)
Directions:
Directions:
In a bowl mix together 1-4
Add 5-8
Beat w/Mixer on Med for 3 min
Add Egg & Beat 2 more min
Put into 8" Square Pan

Stir together Blueberries, 3 T Sugar & 1 tsp of Lemon Peel
Sprinkle over Batter in pan

Bake 350º for 40-45 min or until slightly browned.
Cool slightly in pan & cut into squares
Serve Warm
