Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 c. All-Purpose Flour
2 c. Sugar
1/2 c. Cocoa
2 tsp. Baking Soda
1 c. Boiling Water
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
1 c. Mayonnaise

Sour Cream Velvet Frosting:
1 pkg. Toll House Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
1/2 c. Sour Cream
1/4 c. Butter
1 tsp. Real Vanilla
1/8 tsp. Salt
2 1/2 c. Powdered Sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325°F. Lightly grease 9" x 13" baking pan. In medium bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa, and soda. Add boiling water, mayonnaise, and vanilla. Mix well. (NOTE: Can use 1/2 cup of mayonnaise and 1/2 cup of Miracle Whip.) Pour into baking pan and bake for 20-25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in middle comes out clean. Cool in pan on wire rack. Frost.

ICING: Melt the chips and butter in double boiler over hot and NOT boiling water. Stir until smooth. Transfer to a mixing bowl and blend in sour cream, vanilla, and salt. Sift the powdered sugar and beat into chocolate mixture well, adding more sugar if needed to get spreading consistency. This will frost a sheet cake or two-layer cake. When set up, it will be the consistency of fudge -- very rich and very chocolaty.
