1 1/3 cups white Karo Syrup
2 cups white sugar
2 cups thick cream - divided
1 cube butter
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Put sugar, butter, syrup and 1 cup of cream in a heavy sauce pan. Stir and cook until mixture boils vigorously; then stir in last cup of cream. SLOWLY - so it doesn't stop the boiling.

Keep stirring. When color turns to a soft brown, start testing . . cook until soft ball stage, use cold water to test the ball stages. . . do not cook to hard ball.

Add vanilla and pour into a buttered pa.

When it is cooled, cut into squares, and wrap in wax paper.
