1 quart chicken stock
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 onion chopped
4 cloves of finely sliced garlic
1/2 head of finely shredded cabbage (green)
2 carrots, grated
3 ribs of celery sliced
1 cup Arozo pasta
2 cups V-8 juice
Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Put prepared veggies in pot with a small amount of olive oil. Cook until tender but do not brown, we are only sweating them. Garlic will turn very bitter if it burns.

Add remaining ingredients, bring to a boil and then drop heat to medium simmer.

Do all the prep work first, chop all veggie and have ready. .

This is a very thin soup, Serve with hot fresh baked bread, garlic bread or rolls.

Very close duplicate to what the Basque restaurants serve. Serve with hot pepper flakes on the side and Parmesan cheese.
