1 cup shortening
1 1/2 sugar
2 eggs
4 squares unsweetened chocolate melted
2 t. rum extract
2 1/2 t. baking powder
1/2 t. salt
3 cups cake flour
2 T. milk
1 cup ground almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugar, eggs, melted chocolate and rum. Beat in baking powder and salt. Add flour alternately with milk. Stir in almonds. Cover and chill one hour.

Roll out on lightly floured surface and cut in desired shapes. Trim with icing.
