3 sticks butter, softened
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tblsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tblsp. baking powder
1 tblsp. baking soda
1 tblsp. cinnamon
3 c. chocolate chips
3 c. rolled oats
2 c. coconut
2 c. pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugars. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine next five ingredients and gradually add to sugar mixture. Stir in chocolate chips, oats, coconut and pecans. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes.

I'd love to say that the First Lady gave me this recipe over tea at the White House, but I really found it in the newspaper! This recipe makes TONS of cookies. I usually bake half of the dough and freeze the rest for another time.
