5 large ripe tomatoes, chopped
1/3 c. onions, chopped
2 tbsp. fresh cilantro, finely chopped
1 jalapeņo pepper, finely chopped (optional)
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tbsp. pure lemon juice
1/2 tbsp. pure lime juice
1 tbsp. salt or to taste

Mix all chopped ingredients in a large bowl and refrigerate for one hour.
Note, leaving the seeds in the jalapeņo pepper will make the salsa spicier. Serve with your favorite tortilla chips and enjoy.

This is a summer time favorite for The Jaime family. We put it on our grilled burgers and hot dogs as well. Can't tell you how long it will last in the fridge though because there's never any left over!
