Peeled and Sliced apples (or any other fruit)
1/4 cup sugar
Topping:
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup oatmeal
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter or margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Spread apple slices in a baking dish and sprinkle with sugar. Topping: sift together flour, oatmeal, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Add brown sugar and cut in margarine. Mixture will be crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 375ºF for 35 minutes or until top is brown and apples are tender.

I double the topping mixture depending on the size of baking pan. Fruit crisp is one of grandma's specialties!
