¼ cup oil *optional
½ lb cooked ground beef
1 onion, chopped
½ large green pepper, chopper
1 cup raw rice
2 cans, 8 oz, tomato sauce
1 ¾ cup warm water
1 Tbs prepared mustard
1 ½ Tbs chili powder
black pepper to taste
dashes of cayenne pepper to taste

Directions:

Mix all ingredients and bring to a boil. Stir well and turn heat to low, cover and let simmer, stirring occasionally until rice is cooked. Remove from heat and let sit, covered, for about 10 minutes. Stir and serve.
