1 pkg (6 oz) Chocolate Chips
3 Tbs Butter
1 can (14 oz) sweetened, condensed milk
2 tsp vanilla
¾ cup coarsely chopped nuts (opt)
1 cup butter (2 sticks)
2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 ½ cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
2 cup quick rolled oats

Directions:

Grease a 10x15x1in baking pan. Melt chocolate chips, 3 tbs butter and sweetened condensed milk in a double broiler pan or a small sauce pan on low heat. Add in nuts and vanilla. In large bowl cream 1 cup butter and sugar. Beat in eggs. Add flour, baking powder, and salt and mix together. Stir in oats. Spread about ¾ of dough in pan to make bottom crust. Spread chocolate mixture over crust. Dot remaining dough on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 17-23 minutes.
