Cabbage, 1 Medium head
Onion, I medium, choppped
Velveeta Cheese
Milk
Salt and Pepper to taste

Shred the cabbage coarsely. Cook until tender crisp either in boiling water or in a steamer. If boiling, draim cabbage thoroughly after cooking. Make a thick white sauce by melting a 1/2 C. oleo in a pyrex measuring cup. Add flour to make a very thick paste. Add milk (approximately 1-1/2 cups) and salt and pepper to taste. Continue cooking in the microwave until thickened. Stir this mixture ocassionally while cooking. When sauce is thick add Velveeta cheese and return to the microwave to melt cheese. Pour over drained, cooked cabbage and mix. Top with buttered cracker crumbs and bake in 350 degree oven for about an hour.
