1 cup butter or margarine, softened
½ cup confectioner sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
¼ teaspoon salt
¾ cup pecans, finely chopped
Additional confectioner sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In mixing bowl, cream the butter, confectioner sugar, and vanilla; mix well. Combine flour and salt; add to creamed mixture. Stir in pecans. Chill. Roll into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake cookies at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Roll in confectioner sugar while warm. Cool; roll in confectioner sugar again.
