STORY BEHIND THESE COOKIES

This really is Neiman Marcus cookies from Dallas!!

Someone had lunch there and enjoyed the cookies and asked the waitress if she could get the recipe? The waitress said I’m afraid not but you can buy it! The lady asked how much? Waitress said only two fifty, it’s a great deal! So the lady said, just add it to my tab!

Thirty days later, her Visa statement with the bill from Neiman-Marcus and it was $285.00!! She remembers $9.95 for two salads and $20.00 for a scarf. Then it listed cookie recipe $250.00; that was outrageous!! She called Neiman-Marcus and told them this is outrageous!! The waitress said two fifty which does not mean $250.00!! Neiman Marcus refused to budge; they refused to refund her money!! She continued to tell them she would have $250.00 worth of fun!! She told them she would see to it that every cookie lover in the United States would get this recipe!! They asked her not to do it but again refused to refund her money!! She told them well you should not have charged so much!! She said she does not want them to make another penny of this recipe!! This is a true story. Not a joke. So enjoy!! It’s been paid for, so enjoy it and be sure to pass it on!!
