1 pound cherries (red and green)
1 pound pineapple
1 pound light raisins
2 sticks margarine
3 cups light brown sugar
4 tablespoons buttermilk
4 eggs
2 teaspoons baking soda
6 cups cake flour
8 cups pecans
1 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Cut all fruit in small pieces, mix in large container. Blend margarine and sugar until light. Add buttermilk and eggs. Sift baking soda with ½ the flour – enough to cover fruit and nuts. Add remaining flour to butter and sugar and add spices. Combine all ingredients and mix well. On a cookie sheet, drop by teaspoons. Cook at 350 degrees approximately 10 minutes. Let cool before storing between layers of wax paper. Keep in air tight container.
