1 Tbs. instant yeast (or can proof regular yeast in 3 Tbs. water and 1 Tbs. sugar)
1 cup milk scalded and cooled until lukewarm
½ cup butter, margarine, oil or 1/4 applesauce and 1/4 butter
½ cup honey or sugar
3 eggs
¾ tsp. salt
3 ½ cups to 4 cups flour sifted

Beat eggs until light. Mix all ingredients except flour. Add flour little by little until a soft dough forms. Keep the dough soft. Cover and allow to rise or can put in the fridge overnight. Place risen dough on a bread board and knead a little. Roll out in a big round circle about 1/4 inch thick. Cut like a pie into 16 pieces. Beginning at the broad end, roll very loosely to small end and pinch end down. Put on greased cookie sheets. Let rise until light. Bake 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes.
