1/3 cup sugar
6 egg yolks
Ground nutmeg
2 cups milk
1 ½ tsp vanilla
½ cup whipping cream

Directions:
Directions:
In medium saucepan, add sugar & milk and mix well; Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar is well dissolved & comes to a boil; Boil 1 minute & remove from heat; In medium bowl, slightly beat egg yolks; Gradually stir in the hot mixture a little at a time; Mix thoroughly; Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture boils; Remove from heat; Stir in vanilla; Strain custard immediately into bowl; Cover & refrigerate until ready to serve. & stir in all the mixture; When ready to serve, whip cream until lightly set & fold into chilled custard; Sprinkle nutmeg on top & fold into custard; Garnish according occasion & serve.
