1 cup butter
2 eggs
2 cups blackberries & juice
2 cups sifted flour
2 tsp soda
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp allspice

Directions:

Cream sugar, butter & eggs together; Sift together flour, soda, cloves, cinnamon, allspice; Blend dry & wet together; Add blackberries and juice; Bake in greased & floured pan in 350 over for 30-40 minutes.
