Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 sticks margarine*
1 cup dark brown sugar*
1 cup chopped pecans
12 whole graham crackers (or as many as will cover the bottom of the pan)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350º and get out a rimmed cookie sheet or shallow baking pan. Place graham crackers as close together in the baking pan as you can.
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt two sticks of margarine. Add the brown sugar and pecans, then bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Allow the mixture to stay at a soft boil for 3 minutes. Remove the pan from heat.
Pour the mixture over the graham crackers. Bake at 350º for 10 minutes. Let the cookies cool in the pan for a few minutes. Before they harden, use a plastic spatula to transfer the cookies to metal racks (with some waxed paper underneath to catch any drips). Let them cool completely.

* NOTE: If you use butter and/or light brown sugar, be prepared for a big difference in taste and texture.

Personal Notes:
This cookie is an old family favorite! It's name came from us, not Aunt Aurelia, (Joe's 100 year old aunt)!
