1 lb dried split peas
10 cups water
1 lb smoked sausage or cubed ham
5 cubes chicken bouillon
1½ cups carrot, chopped

1 cup celery, chopped
2 potatoes, peeled and chopped
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp dried oregano
2 bay leaves
1 onion, chopped

In a 5 quart slow cooker, combine all ingredients. Cover and cook on high for 5-6 hours.
