1 1/4 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup shortening, chilled
3 Tbsp ice water

FOR 4-5 PIE CRUSTS:
5 cups flour
2 tsp salt
1 cup shortening, chilled
1 cup ice cold water

**Twila adds small dash of baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Whisk the flour and salt together; with pastry blender, but in cold shortening until coarse crumbles. Drizzle 2-3 Tbsp ice water over flour & toss with a fork to moisten; add water a few drops at a time. Gently gather dough particles into a ball; wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 30 mins before rolling out.
