★ 1 cup sugar * ½ cup chopped nuts
★ 1/3 cup margarine *1 cup chocolate chips
★ 2 eggs *½ cup dried fruit
★ 1 ½ cups mashed bananas
★ 1/3 cup water (I add a splash of vanilla extract)
★ 1 2/3 cup flour
★ 1 tsp soda
★ ½ tsp salt
★ ¼ tsp baking powder

Directions:

1. Cream together sugar and margarine.
2. Add eggs, bananas, water and vanilla extract.
3. Mix all of this together well.
4. In a bowl mix the flour, baking soda, salt, and baking powder.
5. Mix wet and dry ingredients together and then the optional goodies (one or a combo of a couple)*.
6. Bake between 50 to 70 minutes in a 350 degree oven in a greased bread pan. Put a toothpick in the center. It should come out clean when done.
