3/4 c Scalded milk
1/2 c Sugar
1/2 c Shortening
1 tsp Salt
1/2 c Water
2 Pkgs Yeast
2 Eggs
4 c Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk, add sugar, shortening and salt. Stir to
dissolve, cool to luke warm.
Mix 1/2 cup warm water and yeast set aside.
Add 1 1/2 cups flour to the milk mixture. Beat until
smooth. Add eggs and the yeast mixture. Add
enough flour to make a soft dough. Knead until smooth and no longer sticky.
Put dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean towel, let rise until doubled in size (about 1 1/2 hrs).
Punch down and shape dough into rolls. Let rise 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
Bake in a 350 degree oven until golden brown, about 15 minutes.
