1 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 ½ cup self rising flour
3 cups quick cooking oats

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together butter sugar and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and mix until fluffy. Blend well into mixture flour and oats. Shape dough into two rolls 2 ½ inch diameter and wrap in wax paper. Place in freezer 2 hours. These will keep good in freezer for a long time so when you’re having company you have homemade cookies already made. Take dough out of freezer, still frozen and cut dough into ¼ in. slices. Place on ungreased cookie sheets, 2” apart. Bake @ 350 degrees, 12-15 minutes.
