2 eggs separated, 6 tbsp. hot water, 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder, 1/4 tsp. lemon flavoring, 3/4 c. sugar, 1 c. flour, 1/4 tsp.. salt.

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg yolks until thick. Add half of sugar gradually. Beat. Add water, remaining sugar and lemon flavoring, beating thoroughly. Stir flour, salt and baking powder together. Beat egg whites. Fold in the dry ingredients and then the beaten egg whites. Bake at 350º for 25 min.
