First Layer

2 cups white sugar
1 cup margarine
½ cup cocoa
4 eggs
1½ cups chopped walnuts, optional
2 tsp. vanilla
1½ cups flour
1 tsp salt

Second Layer
1 cup margarine
2 tbsp Corn syrup
1 can Eagle Brand condensed milk
1½ cups brown sugar
4 tbsp flour

Directions:

First Layer
Cream sugar and margarine together. Add the rest, beat well. Bake 350 F on 10x15" greased sheet for 20-25 minutes.

Second Layer
Cook all the ingredients in saucepan at low to medium heat until thick and caramelized. Pour the mixture over the first layer and baked for 10 minutes.


Icing
3 tbsp. melted butter
¼ cup milk
2 cups icing sugar
½ cup cocoa
½ tsp. vanilla

Blend the milk and margarine and beat well. Add the rest of the ingredients and beat. Ice the cake with this mixture when the cake cools.
