20 medium tomatoes, chopped
6 medium onions, chopped
5 medium ripe peaches, peeled and chopped
5 medium ripe pears, chopped
1 medium green pepper, chopped
1 medium sweet red pepper, chopped
4 cups sugar
1 cup vinegar
2 tbsp salt
¼ cup mixed pickling spices

Directions:
Directions:
In a large kettle, combine the first nine ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer. Tie pickling spices in a double thickness of cheescloth; add to the tomato mixture. Simmer uncovered, stirring frequently, for 1 1/2 hours or until volume is reduced by half. Discard the spice bag. Seal in sterilized pint jars.
