3 eggs
1 1/2 c. white sugar
1/2 c. butter
2 3/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. desiccated coconut
2 tsp vanilla
1 19 oz. can crushed pineapple
3 lbs. gumdrops (cut small)
1 c. white or golden raisins
1/2 c. nuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, sugar and eggs till light and fluffy. Add pineapple, coconut, raisins, gumdrops and vanilla. Add flour and baking powder. Line bread pans with brown papers that have been oliled and fill pans 3/4 full. Bake at 300 degrees for about 2 - 2 1/2 hours. Let cakes cool and roll in foil. Cakes may be frozen immediately.
