3 c. flour
1 1/2 c. shortening (I use Crisco shortening)
1 tbsp. sugar
pinch of salt
1 egg
5 tbsp. ice cold water
1 tsp. vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, shortening, sugar and salt together till crumbly using a pastry cutter or fork.
Beat together the egg, water, and vinegar and add to the flour mixture. Mix till dough leaves sides of bowl. DON'T OVER MIX! Roll out on lightly floured surface and shape into pie plate.

This recipe is enough to make a liberal top and bottom crust for fruit pie or 3 nine inch bottom crusts for cream pie.
