1 gal. tomatoes
1 onion
1 T. salt
1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. red pepper
1 tsp. black pepper
1 stick cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Cook tomatoes and onion together; strain and measure 1 gal. Stir in salt, sugar and vinegar. Tie spices in a cheesecloth bag. Simmer to the desired consistency. Ladle into jars for canning.
