2 ready made pie crusts
1 stick butter
1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
FILLING:
2 lbs. Granny Smith Apples - peeled and sliced
2 lbs. another kind of apples - peeled and sliced
1 tsp. cinnamon
3/4 cup sugar
2 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º Combine filling ingredients together and set aside.
Melt butter in a 10 in. iron skillet. Add brown sugar. Cook approximately 1 minute or until blended. Place one pie crust on top of butter mixture. .
Pour apple mixture on bottom crust. Top with second crust and seal edges. Make small slits on top crust, dot with butter and sprinkle finely over pie. Bake for approximately 1 hour.
