2 lbs. ground beef
1 onion, peeled and cut in small squares
1 Tbsp. Crisco
12-10 3/4 oz. cans of condensed vegetable soup
Salt and pepper to taste

Utensils needed:
Dutch oven
Stirring spoon
Knife
Tablespoon
Can opener

Directions:
Directions:
1. Put Crisco in bottom of pan
2. Add salt and pepper to beef and break up in bottom of pan.
3. Brown beef and onion until beef is brown and onion is done.
4. Carefully pour off excess grease.
5. Add vegetable soup and enough water to prevent sticking.
6. Cover and cook slowly until meat is cooked through.
