1 c shortening soft (part butter)
2 eggs
1 1/2 c sugar
2 3/4 c flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, shortening and egg together. Beat it, add dry ingredients mix together well.

Form dough into balls the size of a walnut, roll into a mixture of 2 Tbs. sugar and 1 Tbs. cinnamon.

Bake at 400º for 8 - 10 minutes until brown and soft.

Do not overcrowd pan when baking.
