10 lbs ground chicken, turkey, beef or lamb
10 large carrots, sliced or diced
Other vegetables, such as green beans, peas, spinach, etc. Frozen work well.
5 to 6 cups rice
3 Tbsp margarine
2 Tbsp chopped garlic
Salt and black pepper
18 cups chicken broth, beef broth or water

Directions:

Melt margarine in a very large stock pot.

Add garlic, meat, salt and pepper. Saute until meat is browned.

Add broth or water and other vegetable and simmer until meat is cooked.

Add rice and cook on medium heat until rice is cooked, stirring occasionally, approximately. 25 minutes.

This recipe will serve 5 boxers for about a week.

This was prepared for the Mt Tom Roadies for several weeks when there was a scare with respect to a widely used dog food additive thought to be unsafe.
