2 chicken breasts
1/2 c. red cooking wine
1/8 tsp. garlic salt
1 T. parsley
1/2 tsp. basil or fresh basil leaves
1 can dark cherries (NOT pie filling)
1 chopped red onion
1 diced sweet potato and/or carrots
1/4 c. butter, cream or milk (choose one of these)
fresh strawberries

Directions:
Directions:
Combine wine, spices and cherries to make marinade. Marinate chicken, onions and root vegetables in the refrigerate all day. Cook with butter, cream or milk at 350 degrees for 30 min. or until chicken is done. Everything will turn a rich, romantic, deep shade of red. Garnish with fresh strawberries. Yield: 2 servings.
