2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 c. melted butter
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
2-3 Tbsp. grated orange peel
2 c. pecans, chopped
Directions:
Directions:
Put brown sugar in bowl. Add butter & mix well. Add eggs, vanilla, orange peel & nuts. Then add flour with dry ingredients. Put on platter & cover. Chill.

When ready to bake, slice off small piece and form into a ball, press down. Put distance apart, they spread.

Bake at 350º for 8-10 minutes.
