10 cups rolled oats
2 cups unsweetened shredded coconut
1 cup rye bran
1 cup corn bran
1 cup wheat bran
1 cup wheat germ
2 cups shelled pumpkin seeds
2 cups shelled sunflower seeds
1 1/2 cups slivered almonds
1 cup chopped pecans (optional)
1/2 cup canola oil
1 cup water
3/4 cup honey
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp.salt
4 cups favourite dried fruits, chopped
1 1/2 cup raisins
1 cup cranberries

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine everything but the dried fruit. Mix thoroughly.

2. Put onto cookie sheets and bake at 275º for ten minutes. Take out and turn the mix over on the cookie sheets, then return them to the oven for another ten minutes. Do this until granola is golden but not too crunchy.

3. Put granola into a very large bowl and add the dried fruit. Mix thoroughly. Put back onto cookie sheets and let cool.

4. Store in a sealed container for up to 6 weeks.
