3 cups whole wheat flour, less1 tbsp.
2 1/2 cups bread flour
1/2 cup wheat germ
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. brown sugar
4 tbsp. flax seed
3 eggs
1 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup powdered nonfat milk
1 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375º.

2. Combine wheat flour bread flour, wheat germ, salt brown sugar and flax seed in mixing bowl. Stir in eggs and vegetable oil.

3. Dissolve dry milk in water and stir into flour mixture. Mix to form very form dough that is smooth and workable. Adjust by adding flour or water as required.

4. Cover the dough and let relax for 15 to 20 minutes. Roll the dough out to 1/2 inch thick. Cut out biscuits using a cookie cutter of your choice (dog bone shapes are available).

5. Place biscuits on parchment lined cookie sheets. Bake the treats for 40 minutes or until brown and hard. Let treats cool then store in a tightly sealed container. They freeze well but thaw completely before giving to your dog.
