1 1/2Cups Flour
1/4tsp Baking Soda
1/2Cup Cocoa Powder
1 Egg
1/2Cup Softened Butter
1 1/2tsp Vanilla
1Cup Sugar
1 10OZ Jar (48) Maraschino Cherries
1/4tsp Baking Powder
1/2Cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
1Cup Chocolate Chips

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. In a bowl, combine flour and cocoa powder and set aside. In a large mixing bowl beat butter for 30 seconds. Add sugar, baking soda, baking powder and 1/4tsp salt. Beat in egg and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Place balls 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Press down centers with thumb. Drain cherries reserving juice. Place a cherry or cherry half in center of each cookie. For frosting, combine chocolate pieces and sweetened condensed milk. Heat until chocolate melts. Stir in 4 tsp of reserved cherry juice. Spoon about 1 teaspoon of frosting over each cherry, covering cherry. Bake 10 minutes. Cool on cookie sheet for 1 minute and transfer to racks to cool completely.
