2 T butter
1/4 lb. salt pork diced
1 cup chopped onion
1 leek chopped
1 cup chopped celery
3 T flour
1 cup diced potatoes
1 1/2 quarts fish stock or clam jice
1 8oz. can chopped clams
1 bay leaf
salt and pepper
1 cup milk (scaled)

Saute first 5 ingredients. Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer 30 - 40 minutes.
