1 cup (2 sticks) salted butter, softened
½ cup sugar
1 ½ cup light brown sugar
2 eggs
3 cups (12oz) all purpose flour
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 ½ tsp baking powder
Delight #1: 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Delight #2: Add ½ cup pecans
Delight #3: Add ½ cup Hershey’s cinnamon chips

Preheat oven to 350º.

Cream butter, sugar and light brown sugar until it is nice and fluffy. (approx 5 minutes on medium speed). Make sure the mixture gets very creamy.

Add the eggs and beat for an additional 2 minutes. Add baking soda, baking powder, salt and flour until cookie batter is fully incorporated. Finally add chocolate chips until well distributed.

For Delight #2, add chopped pecans with the chocolate chips.

For Delight #3, add Hershey’s cinnamon chips with the chocolate chips and pecans. The cookie batter should be somewhat thick. Drop about 2 tbsp of dough onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake for 12-14 minutes until the edges are golden brown. Remove from oven and allow the cookies to stay on the sheet for an additional 2 minutes before transferring them to a rack or plate. ENJOY..
