4 c. all purpose flour (NOT self rising)

1 c. salt

1 1/2 c. water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients. The mixture is kneaded on a flour dough board until pliable. Mold or cut a small portion(s) into whatever shapes you desire; keep rest of dough in a plastic so it doesn't dry out.
Prior to baking, make a hole at the top of each shape for hanging purposes. Bake at 300º for 1 hour or until dough is thoroughly dry. Paint as desired.

PAINT RECIPE:

1 egg yolk

1/4 tsp. cold water

Divide into 4 parts. Put 1 drop of food color into each cup. Paint ornaments. Insert ribbon through the top of each ornament; hang and enjoy!
