Large bowl with a handle (microwaveable)
2 c. raw peanuts
2 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
1 tsp. salt
2 T. real butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare baking sheet by buttering it and set it aside; you will need this very quickly at the end.
Mix together the first four ingredients in bowl with the handle. Put in the microwave for 4 minutes on HIGH. Mix well. Return to microwave and cook another 12 minutes rotating, every six minutes. At the end of the 12 minutes stir in the butter and vanilla. Cook another 2 minutes. If golden brown remove. If not, cook another 2 minutes. Remove and immediately add the baking soda. This causes the mixture to foam. Stir quickly and pour out onto the prepared baking sheet. Spread to desired thickness.
