1 batch of unbaked sugar cookies
1 egg yolk
1/4 tsp. of water
Food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix egg yolk and water in a small bowl.

2. Divide mixture among 5 custard cups.

3. Add a few drops of food color to each cup to make red, green, blue, yellow and orange paint.

4. Roll out sugar cookie dough and cut with cookie cutters to make your own interesting shapes. Place on baking sheet.

5. Using a different paintbrush for each color of paint, paint designs on the cookies. If paint thickens, add a few small drops of water.

6. Bake cookies as indicated in the Sugar Cookies recipe.
