1 cup shortening
2 cup white sugar
3 Eggs
1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
5 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
1 Tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 Cup Milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
In a medium bowl, cream together shortening and sugar for cookies. Beak in the eggs, one at a time. Stir in vanilla.
Combine flour and baking powder. Stir into the cookie mixture, alternating with the milk.
Drop dough by spoonfuls or roll out cookie dough on a lightly floured surface to 1/4 inch thickness. Cut with cookie cutter into desired shapes.
Place cookies 1 1/2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool completely.
