Ingredients: 1 package white cake mix 1 3 oz. strawberry gelatin 1 cup water 1/2 vegetable oil 4 eggs whites 1/2 cup mashed unsweetened strawberries Whipped cream or frosting of your choice

Directions: |
Directions:In a large bowl combine the dry cake mix, gelatin, water and oil. Beat on low speed for 1 minute or until moistened; beat on medium for 4 minutes. In a small bowl beat egg whites on high speed until stiff peaks form. Fold egg whites and mashed strawberries into cake batter.
Pour into 3 greased and floured 8 inch round baking pans. Bake at 350º for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from the pans to wire racks to cool completely. Frost with whipped cream or frosting of your choice. If using whipped cream store in refrigerator. |
